I've been back. I am glad to be back, and not living out of a suitcase, and to see friends and be in my unglamorous, but beloved community again. But China was wonderful, spending time with my whole family for the first week was a little hard, but healing in some ways. Mostly it was a pleasant, "see, we can get along" time. I don't know if it is unusual, but having all four of us together, in the same place means a lot to me. Because my family, in a way, explains who I am and I don't feel (the sometimes burden) like I have to do it myself.

My brother has grown up a ton in China. He met God there and I can see him becoming the man I always knew he had the potential to become. He says China feels like home to him now. Leaving him I realized that I feel his absence here in the states.

This is very piecey, but I've had a rough week adjusting to the time change, getting back into work, losing a client, and some other things. I feel exhausted, but I know it will pass.

I'll try to post something more entertaining about the trip later.
